Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Daniel M. Clement, age 42, of St. Joseph will be at 10 am on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph, MN. Daniel died on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Augusta after a long and courageous battle with metastatic melanoma. The Rev. Joseph Feders OSB will officiate. Burial will be in St. John’s parish cemetery, Collegeville, MN.
Family and friends may call between 4-8 pm on Friday (TODAY) at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Joseph and after 9 am on Saturday at the church in St. Joseph. St. Joseph parish prayers will be at 6 pm tonight at the funeral home in St. Joseph.
Daniel was born on January 21, 1968 in St. Cloud to Richard and Adeline (Fladung) Clement. He graduated from Apollo High School. He married Kelly M. Kremers on Sept. 30, 2000 in Waite Park, MN. He was employed by US Food Service as a driver from 1997 to the present. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph, MN.
Dan loved to ride his Harley, hunting, fishing, swimming, playing cribbage and spending time with his wife and children. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and a great friend to many. His infectious laughter and unique sense of humor will be missed.
He is survived by his wife Kelly, daughter Kaitlyn and son Grant; his parents Dick and Adeline of St. Cloud; brothers and sisters: Jim, Marla (Ron) Burger, Patty (Michael) Clement-Cihak, Barb (Dexter) Eleazar, Tim, and Suzie; nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their appreciation for all of the help, support and love that was shown during the toughest time of Dan’s life. A special “thank you” to Quiet Oaks for their comfort and care during his final days.
