We remember Kerry as the youngest of the Thomas clan and a real sweetheart. My mom especially had a soft spot in her heart for Kerry and always enjoyed visiting with him. He will be very much missed by his nieces and nephews. May he dance with the angels with Peace, Love & Joy. Kate

I met Kerry for the first time in the summer of 1971 trimming christmas tree in August for $.50 a hour. On the ride home he bet he could sit on a ant hill for 5 minutes and anybody who wanted to watch had to pay $.50 each. And if he did not he’d pay everyone who bet $1.00. After trimming trees all day I could not believe my luck that I would have a chance to make some easy money. He even let us stir the ants up! What a sucker I was!!!!
Over the years I got to know Kerry better and he was truly a gentle giant with a big heart. I’m greatful I had the chance to speak with him at Tony’s gathering last summer.
Rest in peace Kerry and may GOD bless your soul.

A high school friend sent this to me. We all graduated from Cathedral with Kerry.
I am so sorry to hear that Kerry died so young. I did not know Kerry well but remember him and enjoyed the times we talked and discussed various topics of interest. My support and sympathy to Kerry’s family.

09-09-2009 was supposed to be the luckiest day of the year; I hope that it was for Kerry and that he has now found health and peace and love.
Tracy and I went to the Rice Days parade the last time I was in Minnesota and we got to spent the afternoon with Kerry. Even though he was not feeling well, he was a very gracious host and we had a good time. He told us what wonderful neighbors he had; he could not get around much, but the neighbors helped out with groceries and doctor visits and just making sure that he was alright. I hope they all know how much they were appreciated.

Rest in peace, Kerry.
