I am so sorry to hear about John. My husband Walter and I have known John for years. Not just at school but as a friend. When we lost our son Eric in 1991 John helped us get through the loss of our son. Eric was a senior in High School when he was killed in a car accident. We feel your loss. Walter will make it to the wake but I will not. I am in Mesa,Arizona recouperating from an illness and I won’t be home until the end of March. I send my heartfelt love and affection for you and your family at this time. I wish I could take away your pain as John did for us.
My Condolences Mary Waddell

John will be deeply missed. He was a pleasure to work with when I built the addtions to the Royalton schools…he was a dedicated professional.

Thank You for all that you have done for your children at Royalton Schools. Prayers are with your family and friends.

To the Family of John, Royalton School Board, Staff, and Students:
We find it difficult to find the words to express the concern and care we have for the family, staff, students, and community of Royalton.
John was a tremendous support to Mid-State Education District. He was there for us, giving his time and support. All of his good deeds for us speak boldly about his acts of service and his dedication to his profession.
There are many here who name him as a friend. We are all going to miss his leadership and wisdom.
As we work through our grief, we are sharing stories from our hearts. We missed him Tuesday at our Superintendent

I am so honored that I was able to develop a friendship out of our work relationship, he truly was one of the greatest guys I have ever met. I will miss him….

It is rare for a community to be lucky enough to have someone like Dr. Franzoia as a superintendent. He was a constant, caring presence both as principal and as superintendent. He seemed to never forget a student, no matter how many years it had been. He was just a very good man and he will be missed by many.

I was saddened to hear of the death of Dr. Franzoia. I have fond memories of him as my high school principal. But what I most appreciated about him is that anytime I came home to see my parents and I would run in to him, he would remember me by name. I know, in working in education, that remembering names is not an easy task, but Dr. Franzoia did remember. And for that alone, I too will remember him!

Mr. Franzoia was a wonderful person and a great educator. He will be dearly missed.

John Franzoia was a man that I have had a high respect for since he was my principal in high school. That respect has continued now that I have teenagers in that same high school. He was a very good man and will be missed.

Karmel,
I am so sorry to hear about your husband it is so sad. Take Care

My deepest sympathy to Dr. Franzoia’s family and friends. He was a wonderful, caring person and I admired him greatly for the dedication and love that he put into running the Royalton school system. The Royalton School family will miss him very much.

I am so sorry to hear of John’s death. I knew John professionally as a fellow superintendent. He was a kind, gentle man who was so professional and so unassuming. He will be missed!

I worked with John as a school counselor all the years he worked in Royalton untill early 2006. He was my mentor, great friend and the best boss ever! He touched so many lives you could ever imagine! “Sarge” will miss him always.

It was always a joy seeing him and him giving me a hug.I will never forget what a great man he was.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and school family!! I was lucky to work with him! He shall be greatly missed!!

There are so many positive memories too many to explain but theres been alot. Thoughts and prayers go to the family of a WONDERFUL person who will be missed by a lot of students past and present

I am so upset about this, you could of not asked for a sweeter man.I started the first year he did and I was in his office a few times,he always treated me with respect and disiplined me with a smile!!I never forgot him and I never will.

John would eat at the Friday night fish frys with us. He was at all the school fund raisers. He was a great guy with a great deal of kindness and wisdom. He made an effort to talk to everyone and he was one of us.

I very much remember Mr. Franzoia. He was my HS principal. My fondest memories of him include our senior class trip, and the senior lockers, eggs, and my jean jacket. I was saddened to hear of his death. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
