Olga L. Wojtanowicz

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 23, 2008 at Redeemer Lutheran Church for Olga L. Wojtanowicz, 87, of St. Cloud, who died May 20 at her daughter’s home in Andover. The Reverend Bruce Timm will officiate. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 PM Thursday (Today) at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, and after 10:00 AM Friday at the church.
Olga was born on January 15, 1921 in Claremont, SD, to Henry and Olga (Engeberg) Suurmeyer. She married Leo Wojtanowicz on May 5, 1945 in St. Cloud. Olga was employed by Dairyland Stores, St. Cloud School District 742, and most recently by Metz Bakery. Olga was a dedicated wife, mother, friend and coworker; she always put others before herself. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Olga will be missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory are: children Sandra (Larry) Sohr of Andover, David (Terri) of Fairmont; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many other loving relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leo in 1983, son Kenneth, two brothers and three sisters.
