Carol I. Wieber

May 30, 1940 – May 19, 2008

Memorial services will be on Thursday, May 22nd, at 6:00 PM at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in St. Cloud for Carol I. Wieber, age 67, of St. Cloud, who died on Monday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Rev. Bernie Gruenes will officiate. Friends and Family may call on Thursday between 4:00-6:00 PM at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

Carol was born May 30th, 1940 in Morrison County, Minnesota to Benjamin and Irene (Ellis) Brummer. She married John “Jack” Wieber on August 11, 1962 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Richmond. She was a resident of St. Cloud most of her married life. Carol was an x-ray technician for the Women’s and Children’s Clinic, and later was a buyer for the Children’s Dept. at Fandels Dept. Store. She earned her elementary teaching degree at SCSU in 1989.

Carol was a beautiful woman with a lot of style. She had impeccable taste for clothing and decorating and often made her own outfits as well as those for her children. Carol was a creative cook who took pride in the dishes she served. She enjoyed travel and her favorite places include Williamsburg, VA, and Coronado, CA. Her appreciation for nature led her to explore the many state parks and trails across Minnesota.

Survivors include her children: David Wieber (Anne), Faribault and Cherie Wolter, Madison, WI, grandchildren, Alison and Meredith Wieber and Johannes Wolter, mother Irene Theis, Richmond, sisters Darlene Drosky (Frank), Surprise, AZ, Judi Wenner (Bob), St. Cloud, Linda Ruhland (Roger), River Falls, WI, Brenda Bechtold (Wayne), Belgrade, and Sandy Walz (Greg), Richmond.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack, March 13th, 2008, her father Benjamin, and brother Joe.
