I am sorry for the loss of your Mother. Losing a parent is a hard part of life, but she will live on in all her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. The memories will last a life time.
It has been so many years since I had met Nita, I was a teenager along with Jan but I seem to know her because of Jan.
Jan my love goes to you, my dear friend, I will have you and your family in my heart and in my prayers.
(Jan I cannot attend the services as I donot do these things very well, since Mel) but know that I am with you in sprirt and in your heart.

Juanita "Nita" M. Gohman
July 16, 1921 – January 11, 2008
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 AM on Monday, January 14, 2008, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pearl Lake, for Juanita “Nita” M. Gohman, 86, Waite Park, who passed away on Friday, January 11. The Reverend Richard Walz and the Reverend Gregory Lieser will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00- 8:00 PM on Sunday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, and after 10:30 AM on Monday at the church in Pearl Lake. Parish prayers will be at 6:30 PM on Sunday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Nita was born July 16, 1921 in St. Augusta, to John and Helen (Wolters) Toenjes. She married Edwin C. Gohman on August 26, 1950 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. She lived in St. Cloud for many years, and then moved to Pearl Lake in 1966. She moved back to St. Cloud in 1992. Nita was a former member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church; she was currently a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, the Christian Women, and the VFW #4847 Auxiliary.
Nita is survived by: her children, Jan (Mike) Mick, Sherry (Fred) Holthaus, Doug (June), Jean (Steve) Borstad, Steve (Sue), Cindy (Dale) Kloskin, Lynette (John) Eder; 24 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one infant daughter, daughter in law Kathleen “Katie” Gohman, brothers and sisters: Clarence, Mathilda Kirchner, Loretta Rupp, Verena Root, Josephine Bechtold, Raymond, Jack, and Alvina Henz.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
