John P. Vouk

June 16, 1921 – December 28, 2007

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in St. Stephen for John P. Vouk, age 86, of St. Stephen who passed away Friday, December 28, 2007 at the V.A. Medical Center in St. Cloud. Reverend Robert Harren will officiate. Burial will take place in the St. Stephen Parish Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call from 4-9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 1 and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Stephen Parish Hall. St. Stephen Volunteer Fire Department will pray at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Parish Hall followed by Parish Prayers at 7 p.m. and American Legion Post 221 along with the Men’s Society at 7:30 p.m.

John was born June 16, 1921 in St. Stephen, MN to Frank and Regina (Smoley) Vouk. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He married Mary Lee Trobec on July 4, 1962 at St. Stephen Catholic Church. He worked as a television/radio service repairman. He was a life long member of St. Stephen’s Parish.

John is survived by his wife Mary Lee of St. Stephen, sons Steve (Lorri) of St. Stephen and Tom (Nancy) of St. Stephen, three grandchildren Scott, Bonnie and Marie and sister Leona Lipinski of St. Cloud.

Preceding him in death are his parents, brother Bill, and sisters Sally Kosel, Frances Staller, Isabelle Legatt, Marie Merkling, Josephine Theisen, Patsy Thometz and infant sister Evelyn.
