May R. Surowski

A private family committal service will be held at a later date for May R. Surowski, age 95 of St. Cloud who was a resident of St. Otto’s Care Center in Little Falls, MN who died Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at St. Otto’s Care Center.

Arrangements are with Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

May was born on May 15, 1912 in Alice, North Dakota to Fred and Pearl Hunt. She married Anthony Surowski on August 17, 1941 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud, MN. Five children were born to this union. Mr. & Mrs. Surowski lived in St. Cloud all their married life. After Mr. Surowski died in 1977, May continued live in St. Cloud until 1983 when she became a resident of St. Otto’s Care Center in Little Falls, MN. This has been her home since that time.

She is survived by: her children, Mary (Al) Kuebelbeck of Little Falls, Margaret Merkling of Jacksonville, FL, Toni Beltz of Sartell, Jim (Patty) Surowski of Rouge River, OR, and 12 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 3 great great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, one son Michael Surowski and his wife Donna and one son-in-law, Robert Merkling, two brothers and one sister.
