Margaret A. Faerber

June 4, 1966 – September 2, 2006

Margaret A. “Peggy” Noonan Faerber of St. Cloud, born June 4, 1966, died peacefully surrounded by family on September 2, 2006 after an inspirational and optimistic two year battle with breast cancer.

A 1984 graduate of Cathedral High School and 1988 graduate of St. Olaf College, Peggy received a Master of Science in Information Media from St. Cloud State University in 1990. She served the public for many years as a reference librarian at the Willmar Public Library and the St. Cloud Public Library. Her life-long love of reading transferred to the development of many programs and services for young adults. She was well-known in the community for her kind and thorough guidance to library patrons.

In addition to her work, Peggy loved her family immensely and was devoted to her roles as wife, mother, daughter and sister. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Bill; daughter, Anna; parents, Mike and Judy Noonan; grandmother, Jean S. Noonan; brother, Mike Noonan (Kristin); sister, Katy Koll (Jeff); several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She also took great joy in her nieces and nephews, Bethany and Chris Talatala, Liam Noonan, Kylie Faerber and Clare Koll. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Gladys and Robert Nelson, P.A. Noonan; and her mother-in-law, Rosalie Faerber.

The family wishes to thank Peggy’s friends at the St. Cloud Public Library, Dr. Tim Hobday, Dr. Robert Stocker, Dr. Hani Al-Khatib, Dr. Tom Wyne, Coborn’s Cancer Center, the Sisters of St. Benedict’s Monastery, and St. Benedict’s Care Center.

Please join us in celebrating Peggy’s life. Bill and Anna – I wish I could be there to give you hugs! I had a dream – JoJo and Rosie were sliding down a rainbow, waving at Peggy who was looking up at them. I’m sure they met her in heaven, and they are watching over you now. Know that I’m keeping you in my prayers. Love you!

We will keep you and your daughter in our thoughts and prayers. God has you both wrapped up in His loving arms right now and will bring you peace over time. Anything you need, please ask!

Bill and Anna,
My thought and prayers are with you. I remeber Peggy’s smile, kindness and soft spoken ways. May God bless you and give you strength during this time.
