Nancy E. Lighthall

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 8th at 10:00 AM at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in St. Cloud for Nancy E. Lighthall, age 89, of St. Cloud who died on Friday at the Country Manor in Sartell. Pastor Thomas Lighthall will officiate. Burial of cremated remains will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hinckley. Friends may call on Monday between 4:00-8:00 PM at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

Nancy was born January 4th, 1917 in Gilbertown, Alabama to David and Mattie Nordan. She married Byron Lighthall on September 4, 1940 in Minneapolis. She lived in Minneapolis many years. She was later employed many years as a nursing assistant at the nursing home in Sandstone until the age of 81. She moved to St. Cloud in 1997.

Survivors include her husband Byron, sons; Thomas Lighthall (Boots) Salmon, Idaho, David Lighthall (Bonnie) Andover, Ronald Lighthall (Mary) St. Cloud, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers and sisters, and two grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor’s choice.
