Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Joseph for Adeline M. Yaeger, age 99, of St. Joseph, who passed away Saturday, July 4, 2009 at Arlington Place in St. Joseph. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday and after 9 a.m. on Thursday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Joseph. Parish prayers will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Adeline was born June 16, 1910 in St. Joseph, MN to Joseph and Frances (Hardwig) Hiemenz. She married Carl Yaeger on June 11, 1929 in St. Joseph, MN. They later divorced. She lived in the St. Cloud area most of her life. She moved back to St. Joseph in 2000 and was a member of St. Joseph Parish.
Adeline is survived by her children Juanita Pielmeier McGinn of Lanham, Maryland, Arlene Chapman of Wasilla, Alaska and Vernon (Fran) Yaeger of Topeka, Kansas, 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, son Richard, 2 grandchildren, brothers Arthur, Edwin, William, and Wilfred, sister Lucille Rassier and infant sister Anna.
