Albert J. Hemmesch

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October, 13, 2011 at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in St. Cloud for Albert J. Hemmesch, age 75 of St. Cloud who passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids. Reverend Vincent Lieser will officiate. Private interment will take place at a later date.

Arrangements were made by the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Al was born on August 25, 1936 in Eden Valley, Minnesota to Albert and Marie (Marx) Hemmesch. He owned the A and D Bootery in Winona for many years in Winona and later did sales.

Al enjoyed fishing, hunting and many other outdoor activities. He was a member of the Inland Coast Guard and the Winona Elks Club where he was the Past Exalted Ruler.

Survivors include his children, Marsha (Kirk) Mickelson of Lonsdale, Julie (John) Loughlin of Mahtomedi and John of Minneapolis; two grandchildren, Luke and Hannah Loughlin; brothers, Art (Linda) of Rochester and Bob (Judy) of St. Cloud.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
