July 21, 1948 – May 20, 2009

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 23, at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel located at 1010 N 2nd Street in St. Cloud, for Allen M. Schoenborn, 60, of St. Cloud. Allen passed away peacefully at his home, on May 20, 2009. The Reverend Al Stangl will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Parish Cemetery, Spring Hill.
Visitation will be from 9:30 – 11:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Allen was born on July 21, 1948 in Melrose, Minnesota to Henry “Harry” and Ida (Schramel) Schoenborn. At the age of ten he was diagnosed with Regional Enteritis and has lived with it for 50 years and recently developed cancer. He grew up in Spring Hill and moved to St. Cloud with his parents in 1978 and later purchased his home that he was very proud of.
Allen is survived by his brothers and sisters, DelRoy of Albany,MN, Marion Busk of California, Joan (Jim) Wein of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Robert (JoAnn) of Deerwood, MN, Herbert of St. Cloud, MN; brother-in-law Virgil Haus; many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lorraine Haus.
Memorials will be donated to the St. Cloud Food Shelf addressed to Catholic Charities, PO Box 2390 St. Cloud, MN 56302 Attn. Food Shelf

My Uncle Allen was my Godfather. He will be missed.
