Ann C. Mayers
May 23, 1947 – September 5, 2006

Ann C. “Annie” Mayers, age 59, of Waite Park died Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis after a courageous battle with cancer.
Memorial Mass will be 11 a.m. on Friday, September 8, 2006 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waite Park. Burial will take place in St. James Parish Cemetery in Jacob’s Prairie. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. on Thursday (TODAY) at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Visitation will continue on Friday after 10 a.m. at the church.
Ann was born May 23rd, 1947 to Sylvan and Joan Kirchner Theisen of Waite Park. She married Gerald C. Mayers on April 22, 1967 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waite Park. Jerry died on December 8, 1984. Ann graduated from Cathedral High School, St. Cloud Beauty College and completed three years of college at St. Cloud State University. She was a member of MSFSA, and was employed by District 742 at Apollo High School as a baker. She was also a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Waite Park.
Ann is survived by her sons Jeff (Tammey) of St. Stephen, Joe (Sherri) of Sauk Rapids, and Jason of Waite Park, granddaughter Taylor Mayers, step-grandchildren Tonya, Trevor, Porcia and Reed, mother Joan Theisen of Waite Park, brothers and sisters Barbara (John) Frantesl of Zimmerman, Susie (Tom) Ardolf of Waite Park, Theresa (Jerry) Sauer of Little Falls, Peter (Pat) Theisen of St. Cloud, John (Mary) Theisen of St. Cloud, Connie (Steve) Karls of Blaine, Katy (Bill) Reno of Waite Park, Frank (Angie) Theisen of Waite Park and Mary (Dean) Gerads of Waite Park.
Preceding her in death are her husband and father.
A special thank you to Connie Karls for being her guardian angel in her last weeks.
