Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 13, 2009 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Duelm for Anthony F. Landowski, age 84 of St. Cloud and formerly of Duelm who passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the St. Cloud Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Reverend Robert Harren will officiate. Burial with military honors will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud and after 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Duelm. Parish prayers will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

Tony was born on October 2, 1925 in Palmer, Minnesota to Frank and Stella (Michalski) Landowski. He was a U.S. Army combat veteran of WWII serving in the European-Africa-Middle Eastern Theater. Tony married Louise H. Thell on June 4, 1959 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Freeport. He was employed by Horner-Waldorf Paper and later Stone Container in St. Cloud for over 30 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of St. Lawrence parish and the Foley American Legion Post # 298. Tony was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Louise of St. Cloud; children, Angie Jenkins of St. Cloud, Andrew of St. Cloud, Anthony (Carol) of Mankato and Barbara of St. Paul; four grandchildren; and sister, Sophie Woods of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings.
