Carl F. Weber

Memorial Services will be at 12 Noon on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, Minnesota for Carl F. Weber, age 92 of St. Cloud, Minnesota who died at the St. Cloud Hospital on Sunday, January 20, 2013. The Reverend Alfred Stangl will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 noon on Friday at Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Mr. Weber was born on March 24, 1920 at St. Cloud, Minnesota, the son of Nicholas and Martha (Jurgens) Weber. He grew up in St. Cloud, Minnesota where he graduated from Tech High School. Carl enlisted into the United States Navy during WWII. He served his country as a US Naval maintenance technician in the south Pacific and also at a Naval Base in California.

On October 10, 1953, he was united in marriage to Florence Barbara Held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rockville, Minnesota. Six children were born to this union.   Carl built their home on Pleasant Lake where they raised their family. He worked as a guard and later the Auto Body Instructor at the St. Cloud Reformatory retiring in 1975.

In his retirement he enjoyed working on cars, playing solitary, working crossword puzzles and telling stories.

After his wife, of 58 years, Florence died on August 4, 2011 he continued to make his home on Pleasant Lake.

He is survived by; one daughter, Mary Kritzeck of St. Cloud, two sons, Jerry of St. Cloud, and William of Cold Spring, 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by, his daughter Donna in 1966, two sons; Joseph in 2010 and Gene in 2011.
