Your mom was a wonderful woman and she babysat my brother Dean and I when they lived across the street from us in Washington state.

I’m so Thankful & blessed to have had Charlotte for my Mom and in my adult life to have been able to call her my friend. She was a person who was able to show her love for her Family & friends in many ways. A person could depend on her for a hug whenever needed. My Family & I have so many great memories of her as well as those I have from a wonderful childhood. I miss her so much, but I’m Thankful her passing was peaceful & that she is now at peace & reunited with the Love of Her Life!

Hello Everyone, I would like to express to you all sympathy from my family for the passing of your mother. I remember her as so kind and hard working. I was also a friend and classmate of Marvin and Louie. It has been so many, many years since we were at your farm visiting with your folk. It is nice to know that you are all well – your in our prayers. Roy and Donna Beckworth, Debra Beckworth Rieland, Dane and Darl Beckworth and Della Beckworth Hotchkiss.

We are so sorry to hear about Warren’s mom. Although we never had the privilege to know her, we were friends with Warren and Pam and the kids for many years. We miss them and the good times we had playing cards!!!! Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

My family and I were fortunate not only to meet Aunt Charlotte, but to travel with her and my father to Alaska to visit their sister Ollie. That journey, meeting her and all of our Minnesota and Alaska relatives was a wonderful experience and a happy memory for us all. We are so sorry to learn of Aunt Charlotte’s and wish comfort and peace to her family and friends.

I only knew Aunt Charlotte from the phone calls my Dad made at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.
My mother, brothers , sisters and I would wait by the phone for a chance to speak with her. My father always spoke highly of Aunt Charlotte’s generosity to others. I extend my prayers and sympathy to all of Aunt Charlotte’s family.

Charlotte (& Warren) were a big part of our lives for many years. Our house is on a portion of their original property. They were not just neighbors, but despite our age difference, became our “best” friends. They were also grandpa and grandma to our 3 children. We had so many good memories together with them – maple syrup season, apple and raspberry season, fishing, camping, playing pinochle, going to Keith’s for pizza (a favorite of our kids) AND just getting together at one house or another for coffee. We take comfort now in knowing that the two of them will be together now. RIP.

I remember my dad, Charlotte’s brother, telephoning her long distance on the holidays. He would put us on the phone to talk to her. I had the pleasure of speaking with her years later when he went to visit her in the 1990’s. He called home every night while he was there and she & I would speak. I am sorry for your family’s loss. Take comfort in knowing that she is at peace with her parents and brother in God’s grace.

I never knew Aunt Charlotte. She was in Minnesota and we were in Massachusetts. Through the world of Face Book I have found and become friends with Kristen. In doing so I began to learn what a remarkable woman she was. I wish that I had known her. I truly believe that Aunt Charlotte is among the stars shinning down her love on all of us.

Warren, Pam, Kristin & Tom,

So sorry for your loss. Safe travels.

Grandma was a remarkable woman that not only taught me a lot as a kid, but became my friend as I entered adulthood. I’ve missed her and will continue to miss her, but I feel relief now to know that she’s been made whole again in Heaven. She’s with my grandpa and the rest of her family; smiling and talking and most likely quilting.

My Grandmother was an amazing woman who will be terribly missed. I loved her very much. I’m glad she is in heaven with her husband that she remained devoted to from the moment she met him, until her death. For her, this is a homecoming and it helps me to remember that.

Charlotte was a strong woman who was an artist in the fields of baking, quilting and photography. She loved kids and not only raised four of her own, but over 20 foster children! We are all saddened by her passing, but she is now happy to be home with her husband, her parents and all those who have passed before her. We love you and miss you, Mom!
