Christine M. Kuehnl

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, September 1, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Christine M. Kuehnl, age 89 of St. Cloud who passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at St. Benedict’s Senior Community, St. Cloud. Reverend Marvin Enneking and Reverend Larry Hubbard will concelebrate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, St. Cloud.

Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday (TODAY) and after 9:00 a.m. on Friday at the Daniel Funeral home in St. Cloud. The Rosary Sodality, St. Margaret/St. Joseph Society, Legion of Mary and St. Anne’s Mission group will pray a rosary at 6:30 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

Christine was born on October 16, 1916 in Gary, South Dakota to Nicholas and Mary (Gohman) Tschacher. She married Henry Bromenschenkel on November 26, 1935 at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in St. Augusta; he preceded her in death on November 18, 1946. Christine married Raymond Kuehnl on June 26, 1948 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in St. Cloud. She lived in St. Cloud most of her married life. Christine has been a resident of Skylight Gardens since 1999. She was a member of St. John Cantius Parish, Rosary Sodality, St. Margaret/St. Joseph Society, Daughters of Isabella, Legion of Mary, St. Anne’s Mission Group, Crosier Apostolate and Senior Citizens.

Christine is survived by her children, Agnes (Donald) Then of St. Joseph, Marjorie (David) Moeller of Foley, Karen Partch of St. Stephen and Julie Volkers of St. Cloud; stepson, Marvin “Red” Kuehnl of St. Cloud; 14 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and sister, Mary Abfalter of Foley.

She was preceded in death by husband, Raymond on February 28, 1975; stepdaughter, Elaine Eisenschenk; grandson, Ronald; sons-in-law, Jerry Eisenschenk and Mike Partch; sisters and brothers, Mathilda Helget, Herman, Frances Neuman, Margaret Kuehnl, Anna Winkelman and Ralph.
