March 18, 1930 – May 2, 2014

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Wendelin’s Catholic Church in Luxemburg for Cyril F. Massmann, age 84 of Luxemburg who passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Augusta. Reverend Mark Ostendorf will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in the parish cemetery.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and after 10:00 a.m. on Monday at Mary Hall in Luxemburg. Parish prayers will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at Mary Hall in Luxemburg jaeger lecoultre replica watches. Arrangements are with the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.
Cyril was born on March 18, 1930 in Rockville, Minnesota to Henry and Mary (Eickhoff) Massmann. He honorably served in the US Army from 1953-1955. He married Geraldine F. Biever on October 27, 1956 in Lake Benton. He was a successful farmer until retirement. Cyril was a member of St. Wendelin’s Parish where he served as one of the first trustees. He was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Granite Post #428 and their rifle squad and the St. Augusta American Legion Post #621.
He was a foster parent to many children in Stearns County.
Survivors include his children, Mike Schmidtbauer, Gloria (Randy) Kremers, Leon (Karen) Schlangen, Corinne (Cliff) Hilsgen, David (Lori) Schlangen and Mary (Troy) Olson; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brothers, Joe, Felix and Daniel (Margie); montblanc replica watches and sisters, Marie (Richard) Dingmann and Cathy Buchheit.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine in 2008; daughter-in-law, Bea Schmidtbauer; brothers, Eugene, Ed omega replica watches and Ralph; infant sister, Alveria; and sister, Odelia Zwilling.
A special thank you to Heritage House of Kimball, Quiet Oaks and the St. Cloud Hospital staff.

Our families have known each other a long time and your parents were always some of our favorite neighbors…great people. They were a huge part of this community and our neighborhood. We got the pleasure of knowing them and befriending them on so many levels and now they are reunited together again…the will always be remembered by our family and treasured in our hearts as very special neighbors, friends, and card buddies!! Know that we are all thinking of you as we can’t attend the service this morning.
