Daniel Jaeger
March 3, 1956 – February 22, 2025
Daniel James Jaeger of Lake Henry, MN passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the age of 68. Danny was born on March 3, 1956, to Norman and Rita (Lieser) Jaeger in Paynesville, MN.
Danny spent his entire life on the family farm, working alongside his two brothers to cultivate the land that had been in their family. He lived simply but with great fulfillment, dedicating himself wholeheartedly to the farm and the work that sustained it. He also spent many years hauling cattle and providing custom work to his neighbors and friends. He was always ready to lend a helping hand.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law, Randy Krupke and Steve Olmscheid, and one great-niece, Hailey Wendlandt. He is survived by his six siblings: Steve Jaeger, John Jaeger, Jeanne Olmscheid, Judy (Kip) Wendlandt, Mary Jo (Mark) Hieserich, and Patrick (Sheila) Jaeger; 14 nieces and nephews; and thirty-four great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Sportsman’s Den in Lake Henry, MN from 2:00-5:00 p.m. All are welcome.
