October 1, 1946 – November 7, 2011

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for David G. Dingman, age 65, of St. Cloud who passed away on Monday, November 7, 2011 at his home. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Inurnment will take place at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls with military honors at a later date.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
David was born on October 1, 1946 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Leander and Elizabeth (Winter) Dingman. He served honorably both in the United States Army then in the United States Marine Corps. David worked several jobs throughout his life, retiring as a Shop Forman at Design Electric. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #622.
He is survived by his children, Gina Ellis, Gary both of California; grandchildren, Dana, Sterlyn, Nicholas, and Jacob; mother, Betty Host of St. Cloud; sisters, Sharon (Jim) Wanderscheid of Nemo, South Dakota, Barbara Driver of St. Cloud, Janice (John) Krippner of South Haven, Judy (Mark) Ohman of Sartell, Kevin of St. Cloud, Lisa Weismann of Waite Park, and Scott (Karen) of St. Joseph; and many nieces and nephews.
David is preceded in death by his father.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
