Delrose A. Feldges
September 11, 1920 – March 5, 2014

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 10, 2014 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Clearwater for Delrose A. Feldges 93 of St. Cloud who passed away peacefully from a stroke at St. Benedict’s Senior Community on Wednesday March 5, 2014. Reverend Steven Hoffman will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Mary Help of Christians Parish Cemetery, St. Augusta.
Family and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. on Monday at the church. Arrangements were made by the Daniel Funeral Home, Clearwater.
Delrose was born Sept. 11, 1920 at Millerville, Minnesota to Mathew and Gertrude (Lambertz) Koep. She graduated from St. Cloud Technical High School in 1939. She married Joseph Feldges June 27, 1939 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, St. Cloud. They farmed near Feldges Lake by Clearwater for 18 years. They moved to Sartell in 1959. They then moved to Rapid City, South Dakota in 1963. She worked at Gambles, CP Clairs and Magnacraft. She bowled in three leagues. They moved back to St. Cloud in 1976. The couple managed Oakwood Court Apartments for four years and the Germain Towers for nine years. They both retired in 1989. Delrose belonged to American Legion Post #76 Auxiliary and was past president, VFW #428 Granite Post Auxiliary, Christian Women, Daughters of Isabella, TOPS, many card clubs and Bunco. Delrose and Joseph traveled in the United States, Europe and cruises. She enjoyed ceramics, dancing the jitterbug, yodeling and the Minnesota Twins. Delrose was a very sociable lady and made and had many friends. She loved and enjoyed many visits with her family.
She is survived by her children, Joanne (Luciano) Peirano of Las Vegas, Nevada, Fred (Ellen) of Alliance, Nebraska, Janice Zielinski of Peru, Indiana, Mary Joan (Larry) Sonsteby of Annandale; nine grandchildren, Scott Miller, Tom Miller, Mark Miller, Christopher Feldges, Jennifer Karaskevicus, Brian Zielinski, Michael Zielinski, Daniel Watson and Lori Ann Hoffman; 28 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and sister, Viola Bissett of Plymouth.
Delrose was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in 1999; infant daughter, Mary Joan in 1941; son-in-law, Michael Zielinski; baby sister, Genevieve; brother, Mark killed in WWII, and brothers, Clifford, Ruben and Edwin.
She will be truly missed and will live on in all those whose lives she touched with memories and legacy.
