April 9, 1926 – February 11, 2011

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Joseph for Donna Rademacher of Waite Park, who passed away on Friday, February 11, 2011 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House. Father Joseph Feders, OSB will officiate. Entombment will take place at the Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum in St. Cloud.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and after 12:00 noon on Wednesday at the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Joseph. Parish prayers will be at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home in St. Joseph.
Donna was born on April 9, 1926 in Browerville, Minnesota to Herbert and Eleanor (Katterhagen) Host. She married Larry Rademacher on April 9, 1945 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud. Donna worked for St. Cloud School District #742 for 20 years. She and Larry also owned and operated Tires Wholesale in St. Joseph until 1980. They were members of St. Joseph’s Parish for 25 years.
Donna is remembered and loved by her family near and far: Laurel and Rick Miller, Waite Park, and their children David and Carla (great grandchildren Megan and Mitchell), and Jen and Ben Drewes (great grandchildren Evelyn and Preston); Beth Rademacher and Tony Aspholm, Minneapolis, and their children Robert and Piere, Jim, Rose and Martin; Marne and Dean Vandergon, Greeley, CO, and their children Breanna and Brett; and son, Scott, St. Cloud.
She is also lovingly remembered by her dear high school friend, Marilyn Huibregtse Hughes (Tech High, class of 1944), goddaughter Kay Lee, dear friend Kathy Seifert, and many relatives and friends, old and new.
Donna joins her loving husband, Larry, and their angel babies; her beloved parents and two younger brothers, Duane and Roger and sister-in-law Jeannette.
The family is very grateful for the loving care Mother received during the past several months. Memorials may be directed to Quiet Oaks Hospice House or an organization of your choice.

We loved it when Aunt Donna and Uncle Larry came out to the farm for visits, and are so grateful for our time together. What an amazing woman Donna was – we will miss her dearly. We rejoice in her reunion with Uncle Larry. God’s blessings on her family.
