Dr. Robert E. Olsen

Memorial Services will be 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at Grace United Methodist Church in Paynesville for Dr. Robert E. Olsen, age 78, of Paynesville who passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at the Koronis Manor in Paynesville. Reverend Richard Koehn will officiate. Arrangements are with the Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home in Paynesville.

After graduating from Paynesville High School Bob attended Macalester College in St. Paul and eventually received his degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Minneapolis.

Bob married Ramona Stinton, and was well known as a chiropractor in the Paynesville area for many years. He loved the outdoors and spent many hours hunting, fishing and was even an early scuba-diver in local lakes. Bob was also a pilot, who flew out of the Paynesville airport.

He is survived by his son Rondo Olsen and wife Karen of Los Angeles, CA, son Jay Edward John Olsen and wife Sandy of Buffalo, MN and grandson Grant Olsen of Buffalo.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Dr. E.J. and Genevieve (Schumann) Olsen, wife Ramona (2001) and brother LeClaire “Bud” Olsen.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
