We had visited with Eddie not long ago in the hospital, he wasn’t feeling well but when he spoke I could see the the old Uncle Ed with spunk and love there. I am thankful I got to visit him…Laurie and Billy and all the grandkids, I am so sorry you have lost such a Great person in your life.. My thoughts and prayers for comfort are with you.. I will be with you in my heart tomorrow, I am so sorry I can not be there in person.. (I have a surgery scheduled) I miss so much the days when we Gerards got together now and then!!!! What fun we had!!! Much Love , Pat Waddell

I miss the “good old days” when all the Gerard’s would get together for reunions. I remember all of my dad’s (Earl) family and the times we had when I was younger. We’re a tough lot! My thoughts will be with everyone tomorrow.

Grandpa, i’m having a difficult time believe your not with us anymore. You were such a instrumental part of my growing up. We always knew as kids that there was no sweeping it under the rug. Nothing was over until we had the long honesty, integrity or loyalty talk with you. You were so good at pointing out what it was going to take to make it in the future. You taught me to never be afraid to say your sorry (first), always keep your word (ALWAYS), never go to bed angry at someone, and always pay back your loans. You said “people wont help you out in life, if you don’t keep your word and pay them back”. Thank you grandpa for all these life lessons. Please give Grandma a big kiss for me, and tell her “we tried to fatten you up before you came home”. Love and miss you very much! Dale, Angie and the kids

Knowing the Gentleman Only through stories Robin Has told me I send you My condolences . The world Has lost a Kind soul . My Prayers are with you and your family.
