Edrie K. Miller

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Grace United Methodist Church in Paynesville for Edrie K. Miller, age 92, of Paynesville who passed away Monday, October 22 at the Koronis Manor in Paynesville. Burial will take place in the Paynesville Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call after 10 a.m. on Thursday at the church. Daniel Anderson Funeral Home in Paynesville made the arrangements.

Edrie was born March 16, 1915 in New Boston, Illinois to Charles and Mary (Fitzsimmons) Wysong. She married Virgil Miller on September 8, 1936 in Howard Lake, MN. She worked as a nurse’s aid at the Paynesville Hospital for many years. She also worked at North American Creamery, Stan’s Appliance and Spaulding’s Department Store in Paynesville. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, quilting and bowling. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and Martha’s Circle.

Edrie is survived by her husband Virgil of Paynesville, sister Muriel Wysong of St. Paul and brother Daniel Wysong of Arizona and nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents, brothers Carl, Luverne, Roy, Glen and K. Douglas Wysong and sisters Bernice Anderson, Bertha Kuttke and Darlene Rassmussen.
