Elaine M. Scrivner

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in St. Cloud for Elaine M. Scrivner, age 82 of Monticello who passed away on February 24, 2016 at the Monticello Care Center. Reverend Hal Spann will officiate. Interment will take place at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Family and friends may call one hour prior the services on Wednesday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Elaine was born May 22, 1933 in Richmond, Minnesota to Adolph and Colletta (Sharver) Ressemann. She was a 1951 graduate of St. Cloud Cathedral High School. Elaine married Gerald D. Scrivner on February 7, 1959 at the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis. Elaine apprenticed and was employed by the brokerage firm Hull Loan in Minneapolis for 16 years. Elaine was an artist who enjoyed many mediums; she was a former member of the Porcelain Teachers Association of Minnesota and taught for many years. She loved nature, her garden and flowers gave her great joy.
Elaine is survived by her daughter, Dannielle of Monticello; sister, Ramona of St. Cloud; niece, Kathy (Jeff) Hinkemeyer of St. Cloud; nephew, Tom (Suzanne) Ressemann of Edina; grand nephews and grand niece, Brad and Brent Hinkemeyer, Vicki (Matt) Studer, Matt and Ryan Ressemann; great grand niece and nephew, Finley and Murray Studer; and several other nieces and nephews.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald; brothers, Wallace, Raynerd and Vernon.
