Erma C. Theisen

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 3, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church for Erma C. Theisen, 101, of St. Cloud, who died July 31, 2013. The Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Entombment will be at Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud.

Visitation will be from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM on Saturday at the Church in St. Cloud.

Ermalinda “Erma” was born on August 24, 1911, in Luxemburg Township, Watkins, Stearns County, Minnesota to Mathias and Mary (Klinkner) Schreiner. She married Leo J. Theisen on September 3, 1934, in Watkins. Erma lived in Eden Valley and Cold Spring prior to moving to St. Cloud in 1941. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Christian Women, Legion of Mary, Crosier Apostolate, and the Third Order of St. Francis. Erma enjoyed walking, dancing, playing cards and bingo. She especially loved her grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.

Erma is survived by her children, Joan (ElRoy) Angen, Winnie (Rollie) Doroff, Donna Habiger, Daryl (Sharon) Theisen, step-daughter, Mercedes Leverson, 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Kenneth Schreiner, grandson Randy Habiger, son-in-law Robert Habiger, brothers Herman, Math, infant brother Raymond, sisters Anna Brown, Margaret Adams, Loretta Schwartz, Magdalena Burger, Sr. Clarita OSF.
