Ernest A. "Bud" Morris, Jr.

A Memorial Mass celebrating the life of Ernest A. “Bud” Morris, age 81 of Denver, Colorado and formerly of St. Cloud will be on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral Lower Church in St. Cloud. Reverend Anthony Oelrich will officiate. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, St. Cloud. Bud passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at his home.

Relatives and friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church in St. Cloud. Arrangements were by the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Bud was born on February 25, 1926 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Ernest and Anna (Richter) Morris. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He served in the Colorado National Guard as a military assistant to General Officers retiring in 1987 with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer. He was a member of Holy Rosary Parish in Denver.

Bud is survived by his two sisters, Bernadine “Tut” Schotl and Sally Meemken; two brothers, John and Lyle “Manny” Morris all of St. Cloud and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Herbert and Harold; sisters, Cassandra Pearson and Luella Kuechle.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to St. Mary’s Cathedral.
