Florence T. Theis

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Florence T. Theis, 94, of St. Cloud will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 25, 2013 at St. Mary’s Cathedral Lower Church in St. Cloud. Florence passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Country Manor Care Center in Sartell. Reverend Jeremy Ploof will officiate. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Parish Cemetery, St. Nicholas. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Monday at the church. Arrangements are with Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.
Florence was born on January 17, 1919 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to William and Theresa (Wolters) Vanderwal. She married Mark W. Theis on July 15, 1941 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud and lived all of her life in St. Cloud. Florence was a loving wife, mother and homemaker who loved to garden and was an excellent seamstress. She enjoyed bowling with her league and treasured time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed camping trips, traveling and following the racing circuit.
Florence is survived by her children, Bonnie Theis of St. Cloud, Sandra (Lloyd) Bauer of Sartell, Cheryl (George) Kuklok of Opole, Karen (Donald) Schreifels of Rockville, Gary of St. Cloud, Mary Kay (Timothy) Muntifering of St. Cloud; ten grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mark in 1998.
