Frances M. Kremer

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, January 4th at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids for Frances M. Kremer, age 90, a resident of Sartell, formerly of Sauk Rapids, who died on Friday at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Augusta. Rev. Ron Weyrens will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Monday between 4:00-8:00 PM at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and on Tuesday one hour prior to services at the church. Parish Prayers will be at 6:00 PM.

Frances was born January 10, 1920 in St. Augusta to Joseph and Gertrude (Landwehr) Klaverkamp. She married Roman P. Kremer on November 23rd, 1946 at St. Mary’s Help of Christian’s Catholic Church in St. Augusta. She and her husband farmed in Minden Township, Benton County for 44 years until they retired in 1990 and moved to Sauk Rapids. Frances was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, St. Monica’s Christian Women, Sauk Rapids American Legion Post 254 Auxiliary, and life member of VFW Post 428 Auxiliary.

She enjoyed square dancing and playing cards with family and friends.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Diedrich (Jim) of Sauk Rapids, Monica Kremer of Sauk Rapids, grandson, Ross Diedrich, Sauk Rapids, granddaughter Kris Dierkes (Keith) Rice, in laws, Lorraine Klaverkamp, St. Augusta, Luella Klaverkamp, Clearwater, Louis Benoit, St. Cloud, and Clarence and Marian Kremer, St. Cloud.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roman, March 5th, 2000 and sisters and brothers, Veronica Dietman, Alma Erpelding, Lynn Cael, Hildegard Kremer, Dorothy Benoit, John Klaverkamp, and Otto Klaverkamp.

The family would especially like to thank Dr. Nardi and the Palliative Care Team for the care given their mother.
