Gerald E. "Gerry" Stock

December 3, 1952 – December 18, 2011

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 23, 2011 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Gerald E. “Gerry” Stock, age 59 of St. Cloud who passed away on December 18, 2011 at his home. Reverend Alan Wielinski will officiate.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 9:30 a.m. on Friday at the Church. Parish replica watches prayers will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

Gerry was born on December 3, 1952 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Wilfred and Agnes (Bloch) Stock. He served honorably in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany until December of 1973. He worked as a corrections officer for the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud retiring in 2010. Gerry was a member of the St. Cloud Eagles Aerie #622, the Paynesville American Legion Post #271, and the Oak Hill Golf and replica tag heuer Club.

He was an avid golfer who also enjoyed bowling, playing cards with his mom, running and spending time in the outdoors. Gerry especially treasured the time spent with family and friends.

Gerry is survived by his son, Freddie (Fiancee, Jessie Virant) of New Hope, mother Agnes of St. Cloud, significant other, Mary Lou Maleska of Sauk Rapids; brothers and sisters, Sharon (Harold) Ramler of St. Cloud, Carol Ennenga of Coon Rapids, Allan Stock of Las Vegas, NV, Vernon Stock of St. Cloud, Elaine (Charles) Wagner of Dayton, Barbara (Mark) Dingmann of Eagan, Ronald (Bonnie) Stock of St. Cloud, Lori (Gary replica rolex) Brix of St. Cloud, Ralph Stock of St. Cloud and Connie Schwinghammer of St. Cloud; many nieces and nephews; and two ex-wives, Kris Opitz-Rudolf, and Mary Kiebel.

He was preceded in death by his father in 2009; and brother, Roger in 1982.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.

Our thoughts and prayers go out the Stock’s family and friends for their loss. I know there are no words that will take away your pain or that will bring you comfort. Please remember that God is there for you, when you feel that the pain is unbearable, always know that God walks beside you and he will never leave you. I also want of say that time and the support from friends and family, will help ease your pain. We all send lots of prayers your way. God Bless you and yours.

Life…..so fragile, Loss….so sudden, Heart….so broken,…in the wake of such a loss, we are haunted by things we dont, and may never understand. I wish I could gather the right words to make your pain less and offer you some comfort.
Gerry and his family will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of your family at this time. We remember all of our past Hayward Park Friends.. Carol was a special friend of mine and many of us hung out with your brothers and sisters, and Agnes when she came to play ”500 game cards” with our mother and the other neighborhood ladies in the card group.

I just heard about Jerry. I am so sorry to hear this. I worked with Jerry at Holes Webway. I will always remember the good times and laughs we had. He will be missed. You are in my prayers at this time.
