Gerhard E. "Jerry" Feld

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, June 13, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Joseph for Gerhard E. “Jerry” Feld, 92, of St. Joseph, who died on June 10, 2008 at the Talahi Care Center. The Reverend Joseph Feders, OSB, will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-9:00 PM on Thursday, and after 9:30 AM on Friday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Joseph. Parish prayers will be at 6:00 PM at the funeral home in St. Joseph.
Jerry was born April 10, 1916, in St. Cloud, to Henry and Mary (Klein) Feld. Jerry served in the US Army from 1941-1945. He married Isabel (Skaj) Prom on November 21, 1951 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in St. Joseph. He farmed near St. Joseph for most of his life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. Jerry was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Senior Citizens, and the St. Joseph American Legion Post # 328.
Jerry is survived by: his children, Joseph (Anna Mae) Prom of St. Joseph, Virginia Wiener of Minneapolis, Sylvester (Patricia) Prom of St. Augusta, Robert (Maxine) Prom of St. Joseph, Nicholas (Linda) Prom of Sauk Rapids, Geneva Feld of St. Cloud, Jerome Feld of Cold Spring, Marvin (Liz) Feld of St. Joseph, Raymond (Debra) Feld of Holdingford, David (Gerri) Feld of St. Joseph, Anna Mae (Kevin) Schrom of Cold Spring, Theresa (George) Trettel of Bowlus, Joyce (Kevin) Weber of St. Joseph, Ralph (Denise) Feld of Cold Spring; 36 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Leona Skaalerud, Dephine Auer, Sylvester, Benny, Dorine Becker, Irene VanHeel, and Darlene Achman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers George and Clarence.
