I have a sweet childhood memory of a very special visit to Uncle Glen’s home in St. Cloud. We pray for his Family.

My children and I, together with their families, want to let our friends and colleagues know of the passing of Glenn G. Deutz. Glenn passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 due to complications of Parkinson’s disease.

Glenn also worked as an insurance and investment broker prior to retiring in 1997.
For the past 45 years the couple made their home on Kraemer Lake in St. Joseph. As an active member of the community, he will be remembered for his involvement in the original construction of the Kennedy Elementary School and the remodeling of the parish church, having served on both boards. Glenn was a member of the Lions, American Legion, Kiwanis, and NEA.

Uncle Glen made me laugh and put me at ease the few times I met him. I know he’ll be greatly missed.
I remember Uncle Glenn as kind and friendly. We know he will be greatly missed.
I remember Uncle Glenn’s warm and friendly smile from my childhood. I pray for God’s comfort in your loss.
Our condolences and prayers always.
Many wonderful memories of visits to Glenn and Dorothy’s home as a child. Learned to water ski behind Glenn, and I loved his huge garden. He was a spectacular role model and had the best smile! God is certainly holding him now!
My sympathies to your family. I learned chemistry from Mr. Deutz at Tech HS. He was my favorite teacher. He was a blessing to our community.
Love is forever.
I still remember Glenn and Dorothy’s wedding, and all the visits through the years with them and their family. I’m glad to call him uncle.
Lots of uncles around me as we were growing up. Young (Deutz) men with great dreams – even greater character. Glenn always, always did stuff the right way. We learned a lot by his thoughtful example. Godspeed.
Happy memories of pheasant hunting with Uncle Glen and his hard work at the gravel plant. Dorothy, you and the family will be in our prayers.
