Gloriann V. Ziebol

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Gloriann V. Ziebol, 79, of St. Cloud who passed away at her home on Friday, June 17, 2011. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.

Friends may call between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the church. Parish prayers will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Gloriann was born on October 11, 1931 in Rockville, Minnesota to Thomas and Hildegarde (Fiala) Veenstra and has been a resident of St. Cloud since 1936. She married Donald L. Ziebol on May 12, 1962 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Parish most of her life and the Stearns County Historical Society for many years and was the family genealogist.

Gloriann made beautiful cards and everybody loved her decorated sugar cookies.

Gloriann is survived by her children, Timothy of Phoenix, Arizona, Thomas, Patricia (Mike) Tix and Mark all of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Nicole and Kaitlyn Malay, Samuel Tix and Katelyn Ziebol; step-grandchildren, Ashley Malay and Claudia Gonzalez; and sisters, Bunny (Gib) Weihs of St. Cloud and Sandy (Jerry) Weiss of Little Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald in 2001; sisters and brother, Clara Mathiasen, Thomas Veenstra, Vera Svee; and grandchildren, Michael and Jeremy Ziebol.
