Joe, my prayers to you and your family for healing. I’m sorry for the tardiness but just say this in a Fairview announcement for a prevention program.

God Bless your Beautiful family as Gretchen has gained her wings and is now heading into her next Journey, My sincere condolences for each and every one of you, Peace and love, Lynn Barthel
How do you begin to describe the person that Gretchen was or her impact on others? Is it possible to be speechless and full of words at the same time? I had the incredible privilege of being her teacher and her soccer and softball coach during her high school years at St. John’s Preparatory School. Surely Gretchen learned a lot from me, but I can truly say that I learned just as much from her. She possessed a spirit like none other; full of life, joy, determination, tenderness and love. Gretchen was a spark wherever she went. She was, and will always be a cherished student, athlete and friend. Gretchen and her parents left an indelible impression on me all those years ago. They helped me to fall in love with my job, and set such an incredible example of what it means to be part of a community. I have so many wonderful memories of Gretchen. I wish I could share them all. My heart goes out to the entire Wenner and Butler families. I lift you up in prayer as you move through the days and months ahead. Much love, Kris
Dear Mary and Joe, please accept our sincere condolences upon the loss of your wonderful daughter. She was a bright star. We are so sorry. Sending our love to you and your family.
My husband and I made a donation in Gretchen’s name to the Women’s Center for Advancement (WCA) in Omaha Nebraska. It is the go-to place for anyone in the Omaha area who is experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking. I know she would have appreciated their mission and working on their causes. Rest in peace, Gretchen.
I am so sorry for your loss. I am heartbroken for her family and send the Butler and Wenner families love and prayers.
Our deepest condolences to the Wenner and Butler family. Gretchen, we will miss you greatly! You have a very special soul. I was very fortunate to cross pass with you in this life. May God bless you and keep you in eternity!

Gretchen was an inspiration to me and I feel blessed to have met her. She showed me and others how to be kind and generous everyday.
Life is so fragile. I still can’t believe it. I’m glad you went into radiology so that I had the chance to know you better. I’m so grateful our paths crossed. You will be missed.
Gretchen’s legacy will live on through her three remarkable children. Words cannot describe the change she made in the world. All my love and prayers.
I remember Gretchen’s laugh and smile, she was contagiously fun to be around and passionately dedicated to her family, friends, and work. Her passing has been difficult to process and to those that knew her I share my deepest sympathy. Especially, to those that she touched regularly with her light and love; I pray that this void will someday lessen. Gretchen, it was a pleasure to have crossed paths; you’re legacy will live on in this world in those who have known you and I wish you love and peace

Our deepest sympathy to your family during this time. Thinking of your family and keeping you in our prayers! Rest in peace Gretchen
I send my deepest sympathies to the Wenner and Butler families. Gretchen was an absolute light in this world. She radiated kindness to everyone she met and impacted so many lives. I have fond memories of our time at Saint John’s Prep together, and working at camp in the summer as Counselors. We all looked up to Gretchen – and she was such a determined and smart person. We played on the first ever girl’s soccer team together – she was an unstoppable force. Gretchen, you will be dearly missed. Your legacy will live on through your beautiful children and all those people you helped. We love you, we miss you.
Thank you Gretchen for the love and passion you brought to this world. You will be so terribly missed. Thinking and praying for the Bulter and Wenner families.
Gretchen, thank you for being. Just for being. Your being brought so much light to this world.
