Hallie Marie (Johnson) Tobler
March 27, 2003 – February 7, 2026

Hallie Marie (Johnson) Tobler, 22, was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus on Feb. 7, 2026. She left behind a legacy of compassion far greater than her years.
Known for her open heart and unwavering sense of fairness, Hallie lived with a rare and genuine kindness—one that noticed who was being left out and then made room for them. A champion of the underdog, Hallie had an instinct for standing up for those whose voices were overlooked. Whether through a quiet word of encouragement, a fierce defense of a friend, or simply showing up when it mattered most, she believed deeply that everyone deserved dignity, care, and understanding.
Hallie embodied kindness in everyday ways, extending it to everyone who crossed her path—from the person in the checkout line to the pets she loved so dearly. A passionate advocate for mental health care, she spoke openly about the importance of access, empathy, and support. She worked to break stigma and to remind others that struggling is not a failure—and that help should never be out of reach. Her courage in these conversations touched many and helped others feel less alone.
After finding her calling in IT, Hallie worked for the City of St. Cloud as an IT tech. Her aptitude and her passion for her IT family were quite evident – she had hoped to one day retire from the IT department. She was currently attending Arizona State University online and would have graduated in 2028 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology – Cybersecurity.
Hallie was known for her vast Squishmallow collection, love of thrifting, and junk journaling. She also had a real sense of adventure. She earned multiple PADI scuba diver certifications, explored a shipwreck in the Cayman Islands, and enjoyed diving with her parents and sister.
Another love of Hallie’s was dressage (horseback) riding, and she was close to obtaining her bronze medal. Later, when Hallie’s sister Elizabeth also displayed a passion for dressage, Hallie once again showed her generous spirit and gifted her horse, Blue, to Elizabeth.
Hallie leaves behind her parents, Jeff and Julie Johnson of St. Cloud; her sister, Elizabeth Johnson of Waxhaw, NC; her grandmother, Gloria Johnson of Birchwood, WI; and her grandfather, Dennis Johnson of Stillwater. Others who will miss her light include her Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Arlan Marttila of Minneapolis; Aunt Lori Seilstad of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Uncle Mike and Aunt Rebecca Johnson of Lakeland, FL; and her cousins Parker, Caroline, and Emma Seilstad of Council Bluffs; Lance (Amber) Johnson of Waterford, MI; Emma Johnson of Grand Rapids, MI and Alexis Johnson of Lakeland FL; along with her beloved fur babies, Smokey “Bubba” her dog; and her cats, Cheeto and Bubbles.
Hallie was welcomed into her heavenly home by her beloved “Grammy,” Vivian Seilstad; her grandfather, Oris Seilstad; and her uncle, David Seilstad.
