Henry L. "Hank" Hansen

February 23, 1945 – May 30, 2009

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, June 5, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rockville for Henry L. “Hank” Hansen, age 64 of St. Cloud who passed away at his home on Saturday, May 30, 2009. Reverend Jerry Nordick will officiate. Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 9:30 a.m. on Friday at the church. Parish prayers will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

Hank was born on February 23, 1945 in Luxemburg, Minnesota to Leonard and Margaret (Ludwig) Hansen. He married Diane M. Koos on October 1, 1966 at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris. Hank was an entrepreneur and owned Hansen Floor Service, Total Door Design in St. Cloud and many other business ventures. He was a member of Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish, Consecration to Mary Group and the Blue Army.

He will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather. Hank enjoyed camping, model railroading and his work. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Diane; children, Kimberly, Amy (Brett) Cummings, Denise (Randy) Budde, Anne Marie, Teresa (Mike) Larson, Henry, Jr. (Rachel), Gerard, Adam (Missy) and Peter; 17 grandchildren; six brothers, Wendell, Jerry, Donald, Richard, Mark and Joseph; and sister, Mary Jane Rudy.

Hank was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter and son, Maria and Dominic.

Memorials are preferred.

Dear Diane,
I was just at the Minnesota Catholic conference this past weekend. I listened to your first talk, and visited with after it, and then again on the steps after the conference ended. I wanted to write and express my deep sympathy to you and your family at your sudden loss. Please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers.
