We wanted to let you know that you have our greatest sympathy, and our hearts are truly saddened.
Whom the heart of man shuts out, Sometimes the heart of God takes in, And fences them all round about, With silence
You were a wonderful childhood friend. I’m so proud to have known you and happy that you were able to follow your dreams. You will be missed. God bless.

Huan Tran’s Family,
Huan was nice to EVERY one at school. He was a cool kid. He had the BIGGEST mullet i have EVER seen. I took a picture of it during our Senior party at the school. I now regret not posting it sooner. I know he would have gotten a kick out of it.
Either way…good memories. Joelle
Huan,
May your spirit run long.

My wife and I would like to extend our deepest condolences to your family. Huan was a high school classmate of mine for whom I had enormous respect. We fell out-of touch during our college years, but recently reconnected through facebook and email. Huan was a wonderful person and an impressive scientist. My wife and I plan to make a donation to Berkeley’s Astronomy Department on Huan’s behalf. I hope you agree this is something he would find acceptable. You are all in our thoughts during this difficult time. take care,
Erik and Kari Schlicht
