Illa H. Mamlock

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2011 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud, for Illa H. Mamlock, age 78, of St. Cloud, who passed away at her home, surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Reverend Al Stangl will officiate. Burial will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Duelm.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday (TODAY) at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 11:30 a.m. on Friday at the church. Parish prayers will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

Illa was born in St. Cloud to William and Agnes (Tabatt) Levandowski. She married John A. Mamlock on January 23, 1954. Illa worked most of her life as owner and operator of Illa’s Upholstery. She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Illa enjoyed sewing (especially quilt making), cooking and baking. Her greatest joy in life was her family.

Illa is survived by her husband of 57 years; children, Debbie (Mike) Oaks of St. Cloud, Joyce (Ray) Birk of Kimball, William (Susan) of Alton, IL, Cindy (Ron) Furchner of Mendota Heights; grandchildren, Lisa (Scott), Nadya, Matt, Scott, Tom, Emilee, John, and Rachel; four great- grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Hub (Karol) Levandowski of St. Cloud, Gail Wolbeck of St. Cloud, Art Levandowski, Marcia (Mike) Sullivan of Owatonna; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sister, Roger, Phil, and Joan.
