Janet C. Theisen

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, April 6th, at 10:30 AM, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waite Park, for Janet C. Theisen, age 76, of Waite Park, who died on Tuesday unexpectedly at the St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Rev. Mark Innocenti will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday between 4:00-8:00 PM and on Saturday after 9:00 AM at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Parish Prayers will be at 5:00 PM followed by the Waite Park American Legion Unit 428 Auxiliary at 5:30 PM.

Janet was born January 6th, 1937 in St. Cloud to Bernard and Salomae (Kroll) Warzecka. She married Arthur J. Theisen on January 24th, 1956 at St. Columbkille’s Catholic Church in St. Wendel. Janet lived in Waite Park all of her married life. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waite Park and Waite Park American Legion Unit 428 Auxiliary.

Janet enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, playing bingo, camping, playing cards, shopping, old time music, staying busy and enjoying life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Survivors include her husband Arthur, children David Theisen, Southeast St. Cloud, Dale Theisen, Waite Park and Debra Feldeverd (Dave) New Munich, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Dolores Huls, St. Wendel, Phil Stegura, Opole, Lorrayne Traut (Victor) Sauk Centre, JoAnn Philippi (Loren) St. Wendel, and DuWayne Warzecka (Karen) St. Wendel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Daniel, April 28th, 2011, brother Herbert, sister Corrine Borresch, son-in-law Steve Blonigan, brother-in-laws, Joseph Stegura, Bob Borresch and Matt Huls and sister-in-law Angie Warzecka.
