Hello Donny, Duane, Floyd, Sharon & Lee, So many memories I have of my times with you all. Your mom was an amazing Lady. I didn’t realize how much I learned from her till I started my own family. I recall times I asked her for some of those famous recipes like cherry bars, great Bread and many more. That garden she kept was hugh to me, thats where I was introduced to radishes (a little spicy for me). Aunt Mutzy was the most amazing baker with a sweet gentle spirit. Her name means “God is Gracious” and she was definitely a Gracious lady. Love you guys, Gail 🙂

The Ostendorf family will be in our Thoughts and prayers. Mutz will be missed by all. Our hearts go out to you at this time.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the Ostendorf Family at this time.
So many memories flow through my mind as I replay the past because so often your home was our “weekend home” as we came to visit Freeport. Virtually every weekend as we grew up. In so many ways Aunt Mutzy was a mother to me. I sit here in the Operating Room working as I type this and struggle to maintain composure.
She was such a wonderful and beautiful mother and aunt. So much of who I am and how I perform was influenced by things I learned from both Mutz and Lawrence.
It was always a great place to be with awesome meals, and LOTS of laughter. And who could ever forget the look A. Mutz would give you when you misbehaved or made a joke at the dinner table. You knew she was telling you “that was not appropriate” and still she was chuckling too under her breath too. Tee Hee!
She will be sincerely missed.
Our prayers and thoughts go out to the Ostendorf family. Mutz will be missed by everyone. I will miss her warm smile and laughter. She was a beautiful aunt. Love. Rick and Deb Schreifels
