Jeanette Kaufman

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waite Park, for Jeanette Kaufman, age 99 of Waite Park, who passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Reverend Brady Keller will officiate. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church. Parish prayers will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Jeanette was born on February 17, 1925 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to John and Mary (Eizenhoefer) Anderson. She graduated from Sauk Rapids High School. Jeanette married Julius Kaufman on September 5, 1946 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids. They lived in Waite Park for over 50 years. Jeanette enjoyed working retail and also house cleaning for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and Christian Women and had a special connection to the Poor Clare Sisters.
She enjoyed sewing, baking, traveling, and puzzle books. Jeanette especially loved all the time spent with her family and extended family. She loved life and made everyone feel welcome at her home.
She is survived by her children, Judy of Apple Valley, John (Bev) of Rice and Janice (Dave) Vierzba of Clearwater; 19 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; daughter-in- law, Pat of Farwell; sisters-in-law Louise and Lu; and many nieces and nephews.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Julius in 2005; daughter, Joni; sons, Joe, Jim; great-grandson, Daniel; daughter-in-law, Lori; siblings, Jim (Irene), LeRoy, Ray, Tom (Alice) Floyd (Theodora), Lloyd, and John (Elene).
