Jeffrey (Jeff) Clark

March 24, 1985 – March 28, 2024

On Thursday March 28th, 2024, Jeffrey (Jeff) Clark passed away unexpectedly at work at the age of 39.

Jeff grew up in the St Cloud area graduating from Tech High School. He moved to the twin cities area to pursue his engineering career where he really excelled. He was one smart cookie.

Jeff had some obstacles in his life, but he was able to overcome them and fought hard to become the man people were lucky to get to know. He worked at ICA Corporation as an Inspector of Quality Assurance where he was a valuable team member. They had big plans for him.

Jeff had big plans for himself also. Aside from fighting to be in his son’s life, he had a life planned with the love of his life Justine and her children Jackson and Jameson. He was in the process of buying a home where they could be together, expand their family and grow old together.

Jeff enjoyed the little things in life (fishing, boating, music festivals and video games), but his passion for living was his son Odin. Sadly, he never got the opportunity to be the father he so desperately wanted.

Jeff is survived by his mother Patricia Tollefson, son Odin Clark Rakotz, Justine Hagen and her children Jackson and Jameson Kenny, father William Clark, 8 aunts and uncles, 24 cousins and their children on his mother’s side. Jeff is preceded in death by his grandparents Marshall and Mary Jo Chabot, and his stepfather Daniel Tollefson.

A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.

Jeff was an amazing unique person. I can honestly say I have never met anyone quite like Jeff !! He was my partner in crime lol we spent a lot of time together not so much recently he was busy working on his family. In who are all very wonderful beautiful people! It brings me so much happiness to know he found that before passing. It seemed to be very important to Jeff.
Jeff I love you and miss you so much my friend. Every time lil baby BOP comes on the radio I cry. However remembering all the crazy good times we had thank you for coming on that adventure with me! I am glad it was you by my side through all of that! Rest well my dear.

Jeff was trying to be a better person, a better father, and a better family member every day. He was a hard worker, and I am so sad to hear of Jeff’s passing.

I am deeply grateful for meeting Jeff. He restored my faith in the human race as a whole. It brings me great joy to hear He had finally found the love of a good honest woman. All he ever wanted was to be apart of a family and be a dad. He deserved at least that much anyways. I will keep Justine, Jackson and Jameson in my prayers. God bless

Jeff was a great friend who had a good heart for his friends, family and loved ones. As a friend he was fun, happy-go-lucky kind of guy. We spent many years hanging out, playing games, listening to music and discgolfing. I enjoyed being in his company and I will cherish the time we had.

Jeff had always impressed me with his brilliance and determination. Often he would come up with an unexpected solution. Even when we failed he would often be the first to shake the dust off so to speak.

I missed out on the later years of his life only to start reconnecting with him recently. It’s hard to believe he has moved on into the unknown. I wish we had more time to remiss about the past together. Jeff will be deeply missed.

So many memories from our teenage years into early adulthood. I’ll always remember all the good times we had together and cherish them fondly. I am appreciative of having been able to reconnect with him last fall and get the opportunity to reminisce and meet his son Odin. I had looked forward to spending more time together but the universe had other plans. May his soul rest in peace and he will missed!
