A Gathering of Family and Friends Celebrating the life of Jill A. Childs, age 65 of St. Joseph and formerly of Eau Clarie, WI will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Joseph. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
Jill was born on May 10, 1946 in Mondovi, Wisconsin to Alfred and Bonnie (Ward) Everson. She worked for many years for Catholic Charities at several group homes in the St. Cloud area, retiring in 2007. Jill was a loving mother, grandmother and a very caring person. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her sons, Mark (Amy) of St. Cloud, Mike (Laurie) of Avon; and daughter, Kris of St. Cloud; six grandchildren; one great grandson; special friend, Chris Petters of St. Cloud; her father, Alfred (Virginia) of Mondovi, Wisconsin; and brother, Jack (Collette) of Appleton, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie.
