Joann M. Kapler

Joann M. Kapler, age 90, of St. Cloud, passed away on May 13, 2025, at the Assumption Community in Cold Spring.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, with Deacon Steve Yanish officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum in St. Cloud.
Joann was born April 19, 1935, in Spring Valley, MN to Edward and Catherine (Drilling) Kapler. She was raised on a family farm in Red Lake County and later worked in accounting at St. Cloud Technical College.
Joann had a passion for sewing and square dancing, especially to old-time polkas and waltzes. She loved to travel and visited 18 countries, with the British Isles, being a favorite destination. She was a former member of the Legion Auxiliary in Redwood Falls and Eagles Auxiliary in Thief River Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Mark, Edward, Jr. and Kenneth.
Joann will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her love of travel and dance, and her warm presence among family and friends.
