John A. Gazett

May 25, 1935 – March 11, 2012

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for John A. Gazett, age 76 of St. Cloud who passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids. Reverend Alan Wielinski and Reverend Mr. David Lindmeier will officiate. Burial will take place at Holy Trinity Parish Cemetery, Royalton.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud and after 11:30 a.m. on Thursday at the church. Parish prayers will be at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

John was born on May 25, 1935 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to John and Marguerite (Blaske) Gazett. He grew up in Rice. He married Bibiana L. “Bea” Kuklok on May 9, 1959 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Little Falls. John worked in a variety of construction and sales jobs in the St. Cloud area. He was a member of St. Peter’s Parish.

John enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, socializing and especially spending time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife; children, John N. (Amy Willard)of Rice, Anne (Todd) Mills of Shawnee, Kansas, James “Zeke” of Breckenridge, Colorado; seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Eric, Hannah and Jacqueline Gazett, Evan, Erin and Adam Mills; sister and brothers, Marilyn (Manuel) Flores of Venice, California, Daniel of Waite Park and George (Evelyn) of Rice.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
