John K. "Jack" Euteneuer

August 12, 1927 – January 28, 2007

 

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for John K. “Jack” Euteneuer, age 79, of St. Cloud, who died Sunday, January 28. The Reverend Timothy Wenzel will officiate. Burial with military honors provided by the VFW Post #428 will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.

Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, and after 10:00 AM on Wednesday at the church. Parish Prayers will be at 6:00 PM and the American Legion Silver Star Post 428 will pray at 6:30 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

Jack was born on August 12, 1927, in St. Cloud, to John and Veronica (Luke) Euteneuer. Jack served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Gertrude Weber on August 17, 1950 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Marty, MN. He was a life long resident of St. Cloud. Jack was a long time member of St. Mary’s Cathedral parish, and presently a member of St. Anthony’s parish. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 428, a member of the Eagles Aerie #622, and the American Legion Post 428.  Jack was an avid gardener, and loved fishing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jack is survived by his wife, children: Jackie (Mike) Kedrowski, Chuck (Diane), June (Tim) Malott; grandchildren: John, Patrick, Mark, Paul, and Kelly Kedrowski; Bob, Eric, and Jack Euteneuer; Andrew and Katie Malott; 5 great grandchildren; and brother Harold.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Joan Foehrenbacher, brothers Bob, Daniel, David, and Conrad.
