Jordan B. Grotjohn

February 21, 1993 – May 3, 2013

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Riverside Church in Big Lake for Jordan Brady Grotjohn, age 20 of Princeton and formerly of Clearwater who passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013 at his home. Pastor Thomas Lundeen and Pastor Skipp Machmer will officiate. Private interment will take place at a later date.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 12:00 Noon on Wednesday at the church.
Jordan was born February 21, 1993 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to James and Elizabeth (Chambers) Grotjohn. He was raised by his mother, Beth and Jason Hinnenkamp. Jordan grew up and lived in Clearwater most of his life. He was a 2012 graduate of St. Cloud Technical High School. Jordan was employed by United States Distilled Products in Princeton.
Jordan loved to ride four wheelers, motorcycles, waterfowl hunting, playing baseball, football, going to the gym, big trucks and getting mud on his tires. He’ll be remembered as a loyal friend, loving son, brother and momma’s sweet boy.
Jordan is survived by his mother, Beth (Jesse Ross) of Princeton; brother, Jesse Grotjohn of Morris; sister, Heather Grotjohn of Honolulu, Hawaii; father, Jason Hinnenkamp of St. Cloud; grandparents, Amelia “Babe” Chambers of Abilene, Texas, Paul and Elaine Grotjohn of Morris and Sharon Hinnenkamp of St. Cloud; great grandmother, Gertrude Roberts of Butler, Pennsylvania; uncles and aunts, Mat (Annette) Chambers of Abilene, Texas, Becky Orr of Loveland, Colorado, Julie Hinnenkamp of Minneapolis, Theresa Grotjohn of Park Rapids, Joe (Julie) Grotjohn of Hawley, Ron Grotjohn of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Sheryl Lawson of Alexandria; and many great aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father; and grandfather, Samuel “Red” Chambers.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.

Jordan will be greatly missed. He was a great student of Tech High School and he will be remembered by his peers for the laughs and smiles he brought to us all. On behalf of the St. Cloud Tech Class of 2012, Thank you, Jordan, and rest in peace.

I am at a lost for words. Jordan was a good kid. He worked hard when he was here. He really enjoyed riding the horses. We will be missed. Prays for all his family and friends.

I don’t know the words to tell you how very sorry we were to hear of your son’s passing. We always expect to outlive our children. Our thought and prayers are with all of you.

Jordan was a very sweet and nice young man that I had the pleasure of working with. He had a beautiful smile and a quiet nature. May he rest in peace and may the perpetual lite shine upon him.
