Mayer, Joseph A., age 77, Annandale, formerly of Minneapolis. Died August 27, 2006 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Visitation 4-8 PM Wednesday Aug. 30 and after 10 AM Thursday at Daniel Funeral Home, Clearwater, MN. Services 11 AM Thursday at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, in Annandale. Burial 11:00 AM Friday, Sept. 1, St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery, St. Joseph, MN. Joe grew up in Grand Forks, ND. He was an employee of Republic Airlines for 38 years. Joe was involved in the Boy Scouts for over 50 years, and was an active recreational pilot, especially enjoying seaplanes and experimental aircraft. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Mary Ann, 4 sons, 4 daughters, 10 grandchildren, one great grandchild, two brothers and four sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three granddaughters.
